Midwest Distance Classic, June 13, 2015The Midwest Distance Classic is looking for supporting sponsor partners, and welcomes vendor booth exhibitors. All sponsorship and vendor agreements will be made by the local organizer of the event, the Chicago Area Track & Field Organizing Committee Inc. (CATFOC), an Illinois non-profit corporation.

SPONSORS

Title Sponsor Benefits (The Company):

  • The event will be titled with the Company (or its product/service name) E.g. “XYZ MIDWEST DISTANCE CLASSIC.”
  • The Company name will be placed, along with the logo provided to the CATFOC, in all event advertising and collateral materials, both printed and electronic.
  • The Company name and logo will appear on all pages of the event website, www.midwestdistanceclassic.com, as well as on its Facebook page, e-newsletters, press releases, athlete bib numbers, meet programs, meet T-shirts, and all other promotional materials.
  • The Company will have exclusive sponsor rights in its product/service category.
  • The Company may have an on-site vendor booth to promote and display its product(s) and service(s).
  • The Company will receive 50 complimentary tickets to the event to distribute to its employees, clients and key accounts, as well as two (2) luxury stadium suites in which to entertain them. The CATFOC can arrange for food and beverage catering in these suites at the Company’s expense.
  • All advertising field boards, banners, and finish line tapes with which the CATFOC is provided by the Company will be displayed and used at the event.
  • A 60-second promotional announcement prepared by the Company will be read at least four (4) times by the press box announcer during the event.

Supporting Sponsor Benefits (The Company):

  • The Company name and logo will appear in all event advertising and collateral materials, both printed and electronic.
  • The Company name and logo will appear on all pages of the event website www.midwestdistanceclassic.com, as well as on its Facebook page, e-newsletters, press releases, athlete bib numbers, meet programs, meet T-shirts, and all other promotional materials.
  • The Company will have exclusive sponsor rights in its product/service category.
  • The Company may have an on-site vendor booth to promote and display its product(s) and service(s).
  • The Company will receive 10 complimentary tickets to the event to distribute to its employees, clients and key accounts, as well as a luxury stadium suite in which to entertain them. The CATFOC can arrange for food and beverage catering in these suites at the Company’s expense.
  • All advertising field boards and banners with which the CATFOC is provided by the Company will be displayed and used at the event.
  • A 30-second promotional announcement prepared by the Company will be read at least two (2) times by the press box announcer during the event.

VENDORS

Please Note: Vendor agreements cannot be made with food or drink companies because Benedictine University has an exclusive contract with SODEXHO to provide food concessions at Sports Complex events. 

Vendor Benefits (The Company):

Under the stadium is a large covered area ideal for vendor booths. (see below)

  • Vendors will be assigned a booth space under the stadium to promote and display its product(s) or service(s). This covered location obviates the need for a tent or canopy for the booth, but they may still be erected there for advertising purposes.
  • Booth spaces may range from 10’ x 10’ to 20’ x 20’. All tables, chairs, and signage must be provided by the vendor.
  • Vendors will have exclusive sponsor rights in their product/service category.
  • A promotional announcement for the vendor will be read at least four (4) times by the press box announcer during the event.
